Mr. Javed Yunus started his career with India’s premiere National Oil Company, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC Limited) and it’s overseas arm, ONGC Videsh Ltd. His area of work spanned standard loan assets management, audit and accounts, organizational restructuring and repositioning.

In 1998 he joined IFCI Limited. During his IFCI tenure Mr. Javed Yunus was nominated as Director on the Boards of various leading Corporate houses including sectoral leaders such as Bharti, Hero Motors Group Company, General Insurance Corporation, Heidel Berg Cement, Tourism Finance Corporation of India and Oswal SWM to name a few. He has also served as a member on the Board of Governors of one of the top Business Schools, The Management Development School, Gurgaon and Institute of leadership Development, Jaipur. As IFCI functionary he served as Chairman of the Boards of NITCON, HIMCON, HARDICON and MPCON, all consulting companies jointly promoted by banking entities like IFCI, ICICI and IDBI.
